quest log
Every party quiz asks you about capital cities. This one asks about the people standing in the room: who said it, who would never, whose baby photo is that.
One screen becomes the stage - a tv, a laptop, anything everyone can see. Everyone else scans the ticket on it and their phone turns into a buzzer. You write the questions beforehand and run the whole night from your own phone, so the right answers never land on the big screen.
It is early. Everything works end to end, but it has not survived a real party yet. That is the next test, and the reason it says beta.
what it does
- one screen, everyone's phones the questions go on a tv or a laptop. everyone else plays on the phone already in their pocket.
- questions about your people who said it, who would never, whose baby photo is that. you write them, so every one of them lands.
- photos and gifs put a picture on a question. the room reacts to it before anyone has read the answers.
- joining takes ten seconds point a camera at the screen, type a name, pick an emoji. nothing to install, no account to make.
- you run it from your phone start the rounds, reveal the answers, boot anyone being a menace - without the room reading over your shoulder.
- answer fast, score more everyone who gets it right scores. whoever got there first scores most.
- a proper finish third, second and first announced one at a time, on your cue, with confetti when the winner lands.
- gone by tomorrow a room lasts the night. the questions, the pictures and the scores delete themselves 24 hours later.
how to use
- before anyone arrives: write your questions and scan the host ticket with your phone
- put the screen up where everyone can see it, then open the doors from your phone
- everyone scans to join, and you start the party when the room is in
